Learn about the five ways of wellbeing and how they can help you lead a happier and more fulfilling life.

Visiting local organisations and places to get involved and learn by doing.

What will we cover?

  • The five ways of wellbeing
  • Connect –Social skills and relationships.
  • Be active – Exercise and discover how to look after your body.
  • Take notice – Enjoying the moment and environment around you.
  • Keep learning – Doing things you enjoy, building on your skills and setting goals for yourself.
  • Give – Getting involved in your local community and being kind to people.

What will I achieve?

  • Help plan and organise visits
  • Improve self-care skills
  • Create a personal ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ poster.

How will I be taught?

We will work as a group to discuss way we can improve our wellbeing and happiness. We will visit organisations in Bristol chosen by the group which help to boost the wellbeing of the group. We will learn by doing activities and working. Record what you have learnt in a development plan during course, with support from course leaders.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?

You will need:

  • A bus pass or fare
  • Outdoor clothes
  • On occasion you may need to pay entry fees for trips
